What’s the difference between Peach and White peach?
1. Color and Appearance:
- Peaches: Regular peaches have a fuzzy skin that can range in color from yellow to orange-red, with patches of pink or red blush. The flesh inside can be yellow or orange, and the pit or stone is usually adhered to the flesh.
- White Peaches: White peaches have a smoother, non-fuzzy skin that is pale yellow to light green in color. The flesh inside is pale cream or white, and the pit is often freer from the flesh, making it easier to separate.
2. Flavor and Aroma:
- Peaches: Regular peaches have a sweet and slightly tangy flavor with a classic peachy aroma.
- White Peaches: White peaches are generally sweeter and less acidic than regular peaches.
3. Texture:
- Peaches: The flesh of regular peaches can be slightly firmer and more textured than that of white peaches.
- White Peaches: White peaches tend to have a softer, more tender texture that's often described as "melt-in-your-mouth."
4. Nutritional Content:
- The nutritional content of peaches and white peaches is quite similar. They are both good sources of vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.
